Looking Forward Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 7, 2026

Overview

Looking Forward is designed to help you see and pin upcoming calendar events as countdowns. This policy explains what information the app uses and how that information is handled.

Calendar Access

If you choose Apple Calendar or Google Calendar, the app requests access only so it can show your upcoming events inside Looking Forward. Calendar event details may include titles, dates, times, locations, and recurrence information.

Your calendar information is used to create countdowns, organize upcoming events, support pinned events, and power related app features such as widgets.

Data Storage

Looking Forward stores app settings and event information needed for the app experience on your device. This can include selected calendar provider, pinned events, display preferences, and recent sync information.

Google Calendar

If you connect Google Calendar, Google authentication is used to let the app read the calendar data you authorize. Looking Forward uses that access to sync upcoming events into the app. You can revoke Google access through your Google Account settings.

Apple Calendar

If you use Apple Calendar, access is handled through iOS permissions. You can change or revoke calendar access at any time in the Settings app on your device.

Sharing

Looking Forward does not sell your personal information. Calendar data is not used for advertising.
